I've been taking a lot of leaps of faith this week, so why not add another? Here it is...a blog. I hope you will follow me on my journey. A repurposed life...this is who I am. I never imagined I'd be where I am today. In fact if God would have revealed the course of my life to me in one sitting, I think I would have passed out!!! What do you mean I will never birth a girl??? I will learn to be a nurse (not by choice, but because I was going to have a child who's life would depend on it)... I would have to give him back to the Lord after 12 years...marriage will be difficult... I would sell my dream house and buy a major fixer upper. This is in fact where I'm at. I'm blessed to have had all of that. How can I say that? Because the Lord has spoken to me through all of these trials. I will be posting my journey as I transform our new house into our home. I will also share with you how God has transformed me into the person I am...a woman who can stand firm in her faith and see the blessings in it all.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
I hope that you will come back and check in on the progress. Thanks for visiting!
Welcome
Thanks for visiting Repurposed. This blog is about a house we are moving out of, an old house we are rehabing, a family that is walking in faith, a marriage that presses on, and the journey that God is taking us on. A repurposed life...turning the ashes into beauty.
"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Philipians 3:12-14
